I missed going to the state fair last summer. At the beginning of the week it was only supposed to be in the low 80's but today was in the 90's. We got an early enough start so it wasn't too hot. I absolutely loved the animals and quilts. We enjoyed some wine tasting as well too.
I love to take photos, make quilts and camping. Most of my photos are taken around Missouri, the state I was born and raised in. I hope you enjoy my photos and love my great state as much as I do!

March 2019 MSQC Trip
Last week, my friend & I, went to MO Star Quilt Co again. We made our normal stops along the way. Breakfast in Macon & shoping at Ben Franklin. We stopped at another small quilt shop in Brookfield. Next stop was MO Star Quilt Co. They were habing an employee quilt show & we enjoyed seeing all the amazing quilts. On the way back, we took a different route tjrough Brunswick & Salisbury. Each town has a great quilt shop that everyone should visit! Lots of fun!

first quilt of 2019
I have told myself, this is the year to finish my UFO (unfinished quilting projects) that I have. I have things needing bound, I have quilts patterns I started but never finished. And now that I have an extra room, I have been moving my sewing room out of my bedroom and into my daughter's old room. This quilt I made for a donation.

Missouri Star Quilt Company Birthday Bash
Ive been to MO Star Quilt Company 5 times now. This is my first trip seeing Jenny Doan & it was well worth the wait.
My friend Tami came to my house at 6AM. We went to my friend's house to meet up with him & another friend before 7AM.
We started the day at Macon. First breakfast then shopping at Ben Franklin. From Macon we went straight to Hamilton. I have never seen, the little town of Hamilton this packed but it was a blast!
We did a lot of shopping. We won things & some were free. Great day with great friends!
