MO State Fair 2019

I missed going to the state fair last summer. At the beginning of the week it was only supposed to be in the low 80's but today was in the 90's. We got an early enough start so it wasn't too hot. I absolutely loved the animals and quilts. We enjoyed some wine tasting as well too.

Holts Summit Christmas Parade 2018

It was a chilly 34 degrees but sunny day for the Christmas parade.  This year there were 3 marching bands.. I admit, I'm like a little kid on Christmas morning, when it comes to marching bands. I love the energy of the bands! The grandson made a haul on candy! Great parade & we finished it off with hot chocolate to warm us.

Grants Farm

I have not been to Grant's Farm since my two kids were really little. My grandson has never been, until today, and it pored on us. I bet they got an inch or two of rain while we were there. SO we didn't get to do or see as much as I liked to. And we got completely soaked, the boys were freezing cold! We finished up the day, at Zia's, on the Hill in St Louis. ( My favorite Italian restaurant on the Hill) I hope to go back to Grant's Farm again, in the Fall, on a nice day.

Rodeo

I met up with 2 of my friends tonight in Ashland, for the Cattleman Days Rodeo. I have not been to a rodeo in 20+ years.  I had a great time. I love the barrel racing, bull riding, bronc busting & they had trick riders too. I didnt get but a few photos tonight or good photos. I took these with my cellphone.
