Happy Holidays!!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas with loved ones. Mine was nice but my 100 year old grandma is in hospice care. I've been driving my parents back and forth from St Louis to see her. She is still hanging in there, longer than we thought she would, she's an incredibly strong woman! I hope I am half as strong as she!

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and share a few photos from mine.

Jefferson City Living Windows

Jefferson City has a Christmas festival called Living Windows. There was everything from Santa Clause to singers to ballerinas. I only went where there was less of a crowd so I didn't get as many photos as I would have liked but I got a few to share.

Rock hunting at Jacob's Geodes

This past Saturday, my sister and I, went to Hamilton, IL to hunt for geodes. We found quite a few in a few hours and brought them home to crack open. It was a chilly day but a lot of fun!

First Snow of the season

I woke up this morning to huge snowflakes after an evening thunderstorm the night before. I love snow but I wasn't ready for it just yet! One of the Corgis was a happy boy! Dudley wanted to stay out in the pretty white flakes! By Afternoon, the snow was gone and skies cleared. My husband and I decided to go to Brooklyn Pizza in Fulton, MO for dinner. Wonderful food there! Pizza is fantastic, a must try if you are in the area! I stopped to take a photo of the Christmas lights on my cellphone but it did turn out very good.

Not quite camping but...

I was sick earlier this month and now my husband has the crud. We had to cancel our annual camping trip to Meramec State Park. The weather hasn't been the best but I was really looking forward to taking our dogs and heading out. However, a friend of mine, offered me to come to where she was camping and I took her up on it. The campsites had decorations and the kids trick or treated the campgrounds as well as they do at Meramec State Park. I had a great time today and was so happy to get out of the house and into the woods for a bit.

2015 Pumpkin Fest

My husband and I attended the Hartsburg Pumpkin Festival this morning. We like to get there early and leave early. I've been sick but I love this festival. Hopefully next year we can take our grandson with us. Here's some photos of the festival.
