I was put up for adoption when I was born. Long story short, I found my biological parents in 2007, who in turn, were both adopted as well. Jump forward to last year my birth father did a DNA test through Ancestry and we find his biological family. So this weekend, I traveled to Orlando, Oklahoma to meet my biological family.
I love to take photos, make quilts and camping. Most of my photos are taken around Missouri, the state I was born and raised in. I hope you enjoy my photos and love my great state as much as I do!

Weekends go too fast
This weekend flew by, as they always seem to do. Saturday, my daughter, invited me to a Fall Festival up by Fulton. It wasn't very big but the antique store was awesome! I had a nice time. Today it rained most the day. I noticed the trees are starting to change finally. It has been so warm this fall. A friend of mine, lilacs even bloomed again! I just hope we get Fall weather and not jump into winter!

Super Moon
I went out to take some photos of the super moon the night before. Before I set up my camera up for the photos, I took a few of the sunset and capitol. There was a thunderhead that caught my attention but in order to shoot photos of it, I had to change things on my camera settings so the moon won out!

Happy Halloween 2016
We went with my daughter and grandson to trick or treat. It was his first time going other than just to family. We had a great time and walked for hours. We have to work on a few things for next year. 1. Don't over ring doorbells. 2. Don't step inside the house when they open the door. 3. Don't take more candy than given. 4. It's Thank You not you're welcome!
But after all he is only 3 and was a good boy! We had a wonderful time and I hope we get to go again next year!

Happy Valentines Day!
I hope you are staying warm on this day! Not much going on at my house. Some sewing and my husband took me to a local restaurant. I had a couple chocolate covered strawberries for dessert and home in time to catch a gorgeous sunset. I'm hoping we get some snow over the next 2 days. I'm ready for a pretty snowfall.

B is for Beautiful
My mom called me and asked I come get my dollhouse. My dad built it for me in 1975. He spent many hours working on it, after he finished his work day. It has hardwood floors and tile floor in the bathroom and kitchen. He wallpapered the walls and even laid a parkay floor in the foyer. The roof was made from strawberry containers. My dad cut and stained each one of them. This dollhouse was one of my most treasured Christmas gifts.
What a gorgeous day we had here in Mid Missouri. Temperatures about 60 degrees followed by an incredible sunset!

| My kids did a number on the house. There were working lights in it at one time. My mom said the piano hadn't worked for years. When I was carrying the house, it began to play. |
