Marys Home picnic 2018

Yesterday was the Mary's Home picnic. My husband is sick so I took my mom with Mason & I. We had a great time but the heat & humidity was too much. I felt like I was walking in slow motion. The air was thick. I cannot wait until the Fall temperatures come. And I didnt get any photos of the quilts because we mostly played games. And I have way too much fabric to buy other peoples quilts. I had a great time with my mom and grandson.

Folk Picnic

My sister is in town this weekend and we have had great fun. The weather has been perfect! Lows in the 50s and 60s and highs in the 70s. Yesterday we went to a Fall Festival at the Cole County fair grounds and today we drove to the tiny town of Folk to the church fall supper. Sadly tomorrow I will be taking my sister back to St Louis to catch a flight back to Maryland. Here is some photos from this weekend.

Church picnics

It's that time of year again. Summertime church picnics. Lots of food and quilts, 2 of my favorite things! These photos are of a picnic I recently attended when my sister was visiting.
