Birds of a feather

I love songbirds and they are in their Spring plumage. All this isolation is allowing me to get outside with my camera more. I hope everyone is safe and well!

Day 2 of Snowmageddon 2019

I love all this snow! I know most people love summer but I love winter, as long as it doesn't get under 30 degrees. Then I don't like it. We woke up to a wonderful 15 inches today and it is still coming down. I made paths for my dogs to be able to go the bathroom. This is one of the biggest snowfalls we have had in a while and I absolutely love it! And please remember to feed the birds! I love watching them at the feeders!

April showers bring May flowers

We have had a lot of rain but that is what happens this time of year. The MO River is about to bust it banks but the sun has come out and it is a beautiful day. I hope to find some morel mushrooms with the warm and sunny days. Our first camping trip is weeks away!

First camping trip of 2015

We had a nice time on our first camping trip. Every year, when the state parks turn the water on, we head to Bennett Springs State Park. Normally we have friends meet up with us but this year was different. One couple moved away to Texas. Another couple has a daughter who is ill and another friend, went last weekend and had things to do this year. Even though, it was the two of us, and the dogs, we had a nice time.

Campground, where we like to camp, from across the river. This campground is full hookup. There are more campgrounds up the hill but are not full hookup.

The Robins were fighting this weekend. This guy chased off all the other males.

Sunny January Day

Today is my best friend's, the one who just got married, birthday. What a pretty day it is, I hope it's as sunny in Joplin as it is here today.Today;s high will be in the 30's, a heatwave compared to what we have had lately.
I had to get my zoom out after I saw a brilliant red cardinal in the tree. Unfortunately, he didn't come back but I got a couple other birds and my boys.
