Where has this year gone???

I can't believe this year is halfway through. Time really does seem to fly anymore. The longest day of the year has passed and soon Fall will be here. I love he Fall but today's cooler temps had me out most the day. These are some photos I snapped this afternoon after a rain shower.

Camping at the Lake

This past weekend, my husband and I, camped at the Lake of the Ozarks State Park. It's the closest to our home but the first time we had camped there. I think it was a good idea to go the weekend after Memorial weekend. There were very few campers there. The weather could have been a factor as well but after we got through Friday nights storms, we had pretty decent weather.

Flowers

I love my flowers. I spend time going to different places buying them. My husband doesn't understand why I can't get all of them at Wal-Mart. I really like to see what the Mennonites have in their greenhouses. My friend and I spent part of a day jumping from greenhouses around the Versailles area.

Yesterday morning, when I left for work, it was snowing. Too warm to stick but I could have done without the snow flakes this late into spring. Last year it was so warm, too warm. This spring has been chilly so far. The asparagus is coming up. There are blooms on the cherry tomato plant, we kept it in the house over winter, as well as jalapeno and sweet pepper plants.
These photos are from this mornings walk with the dogs. The newest dog is, Rascal. Another Corgi we got from a friend.
