Could it really be Spring? After a very long and snowy winter, I'm almost afraid to let myself believe Spring is finally here to stay! My yard seems to think so but someone dropped the "S" word today. Said next weekend was calling for the "S" word. I won't say it. I love these great 60 degree temps and working in my yard! I even got my hubby out to help me this weekend! Normally he is golfing but yesterday he helped me! I moved my vegetable garden from the front of my house to the back. I even making a path around my raised beds he made for me! I have to say, it is looking pretty good! So let's hope, no more "S" for a long time. I'd be good without any until 2020 even!
I love to take photos, make quilts and camping. Most of my photos are taken around Missouri, the state I was born and raised in. I hope you enjoy my photos and love my great state as much as I do!

March 2019 MSQC Trip
Last week, my friend & I, went to MO Star Quilt Co again. We made our normal stops along the way. Breakfast in Macon & shoping at Ben Franklin. We stopped at another small quilt shop in Brookfield. Next stop was MO Star Quilt Co. They were habing an employee quilt show & we enjoyed seeing all the amazing quilts. On the way back, we took a different route tjrough Brunswick & Salisbury. Each town has a great quilt shop that everyone should visit! Lots of fun!

first quilt of 2019
I have told myself, this is the year to finish my UFO (unfinished quilting projects) that I have. I have things needing bound, I have quilts patterns I started but never finished. And now that I have an extra room, I have been moving my sewing room out of my bedroom and into my daughter's old room. This quilt I made for a donation.

February 2019
I am slacking on my posts so I have a lot of catching up to do. A lot has happened in February. I turned the big 50 and my grandson turned 6 and it has been a LONG winter. I love snow but enough already. I am ready for warmer temperatures and camping trips!
These next photos are of Mason's 6th birthday party. His party was at Bonkers in Columbia, MO. He had a wonderful time with family and friends!
