I love to take photos, make quilts and camping. Most of my photos are taken around Missouri, the state I was born and raised in. I hope you enjoy my photos and love my great state as much as I do!

Jefferson City Living Windows
Every first weekend of December, Jefferson City hosts the Living windows. People sing, play piano, dance, paint....show the local talent, It's always a fun time! It wasn't so bad, temperature wise, when we got there but dropped to a chilly 38 on the walk back to the car.

Super Moon
I went out to take some photos of the super moon the night before. Before I set up my camera up for the photos, I took a few of the sunset and capitol. There was a thunderhead that caught my attention but in order to shoot photos of it, I had to change things on my camera settings so the moon won out!

Happy Halloween 2016
We went with my daughter and grandson to trick or treat. It was his first time going other than just to family. We had a great time and walked for hours. We have to work on a few things for next year. 1. Don't over ring doorbells. 2. Don't step inside the house when they open the door. 3. Don't take more candy than given. 4. It's Thank You not you're welcome!
But after all he is only 3 and was a good boy! We had a wonderful time and I hope we get to go again next year!

Camping at Meramec State Park 2016
This past weekend we loaded up the boys and headed to Meramec State Park. I absolutely love this park. We couldn't make our annual trip last year due to illness but this year we made it. I wasn't as big on decorating this year. I normally put more Halloween decorations out but losing my dad has put a damper on things. We had a beautiful weekend with warm temperatures in the low 80's. It felt so good to recharge my batteries!

Welcome October
I haven't been on here much lately. I lost my dad a little over a week ago. I cant say i did not know it was coming. He hadn't been himself, slept most of the day. He didn't play golf, go to bridge club or travel.
My dad was the most important man in my life. He taught me how a wife should be treated. He liked my husband and was glad I finally found a nice guy he approved of.
These last few months my dad was in the hospital in Jefferson City and we moved him, right before his 81st birthday to St Louis University Hospital. There they found 2 blockages. The surgery was successful but dads recovery was not.
My mom sat by my dad's side for 6 weeks straight. I drove back and forth on my days off to spend as much time with him as I could.
I lost my grandma in January this year and my dad last moth, the day before my husbands 58th birthday. This has not been a good year for my family.
