A new baby quilt

I got a call about a month ago, my biological youngest sister, on my birth father's side, is pregnant. She & her husband have been trying & finally God blessed them with a baby girl. Today I worked on her quilt. They are big into horses & I think I found the perfect fabric.
We are looking forward to the arrival of Gussie Mae. Hope I get to fly to California to meet her!

Summer is right around the corner. I have most of my flowers planted & my garden in. I think this year id like to make another raised bed just for strawberries. The strawberries in the stores may last longer but have no flavor. I love growing my own but i only have pots & they dont last through winter.
My grandson has his last soccer game tomorrow. I cant tell you how much i have enjoyed him learning to play soccer. Last week was his first scrimmage & he scored the very first goal. I was so proud of him! He is growing up too fast.
