I haven't posted in a while because it's too hot to do anything that would be worth taking photos of. We've been hanging out in the house a lot. The dogs hate the heat too. They only venture out in the early morning and after the sun goes down for walks. So far I have lost a lilac bush, azalea bush and some flowers. Listening to the weather forecast this morning was almost depressing; More triple digit heat. Yuck!
But I do have some news to share. I'm going to be a grandma. My daughter is about 2 months along. Or so we think. She goes to her first OB/GYN visit on the 30th. Needless to say, I've been pretty excited about being a grandma. And I've been buying a few things here and there. She's not due until next Spring but I can't help myself!
