Last Sunday and Monday, we got a little snow in central Missouri. Just enough to make the roads slick and the dead landscape a pretty white. As I was on my way to work this morning, I saw we had a fog hovering over the snow. I drove down to the boat access on the Missouri River and snapped a couple photos. It was a beautiful sunrise shinning through the fog. I wish I had used my camera but all I had was my cellphone. The snow will be gone soon and the temperatures will be back up to the 60s next week. I love the snow and always hate to see it melt.
I love to take photos, make quilts and camping. Most of my photos are taken around Missouri, the state I was born and raised in. I hope you enjoy my photos and love my great state as much as I do!

Fulton's Holiday Open House
My husband & I like Fulton a lot. Fulton has great restaurants, adorable old houses with lots of charm & 2 great universities. Tonight I wanted to see the Holiday Open House on the brick district. We went early to eat at one of our favorite places called Beks. After dinner, we walked around and looked at the Christmas decorations and enjoyed the Christmas music.

A wet and chilly end to 2019 camping season
Meramec State Park, in Sullivan, MO, is hard to reserve. It is a beautiful campground that runs along the clear waters of the Meramec River. We knew we had a chance of rain yesterday and for once, the weather man was right! My husband and I packed up the camper on Friday, grabbed the only dog we own that's a good camping dog and the grandson and headed out. Friday night we sat around the fire and talked, We had a smelly little visitor come by, Mr. Skunk. Or I guess it could be a Mrs. Skunk but it was a skunk! Thankfully nobody was sprayed. e made the best of a soggy day by playing games in my friends camper. And of course the day we come home it is a beautiful 65 degrees and sunny!

Quilts for k
I love piecing quilts & hopefully I learn to hand quilt. But for now I take them to be quilted. My grandson loves Pokemon and his favorite color is orange. The gray & white us for my best friend's granddaughter. I need to find a cheaper hobby but as one lady pointed out, I'm not on drugs or have a gambling issue! True!

First Soccer Game of 2019
We missed his first game due to camping trip but we made it to this game. He did a great job controlling the soccer ball. Practice makes perfect! I am thrilled my grandson loves soccer. My husband and I both love the sport.
