December 18, 2019

Last Sunday and Monday, we got a little snow in central Missouri. Just enough to make the roads slick and the dead landscape a pretty white. As I was on my way to work this morning, I saw we had a fog hovering over the snow. I drove down to the boat access on the Missouri River and snapped a couple photos. It was a beautiful sunrise shinning through the fog. I wish I had used my camera but all I had was my cellphone. The snow will be gone soon and the temperatures will be back up to the 60s next week. I love the snow and always hate to see it melt.

Day 2 of Snowmageddon 2019

I love all this snow! I know most people love summer but I love winter, as long as it doesn't get under 30 degrees. Then I don't like it. We woke up to a wonderful 15 inches today and it is still coming down. I made paths for my dogs to be able to go the bathroom. This is one of the biggest snowfalls we have had in a while and I absolutely love it! And please remember to feed the birds! I love watching them at the feeders!

January 2019

So far, January has been a roller coaster of temperatures! January 7th was almost 70 degrees! Today is in the low 30s and snow. A lot of snow and in a short time too! It is supposed to snow all night and then a couple more inches tomorrow too! I love snow! It is so beautiful and my husband started the fireplace. It has been a lovely day, for me! Not the dogs. They had their annual checkup and shots. Poor Jake has panic attacks at the vet. But I am happy to report, a large bump on Dudley's side is only a fatty benign growth. We love that grumpy old dog! Fatty growths, bad breath and all!

Snow!

My husband and I drove to Fulton yesterday. We enjoyed dinner at Brooklyn Pizza and seeing some Christmas lights. Not long after we returned home, my husband says it is snowing. At first it is light then it really picked up!
Now we have falling leaves along with snow! Not something we see very often in MO but it does happen. Made for a beautiful drive to Columbia this morning. I love snow but these cold temperatures normally don't hit until late December. I do love snow but I was still trying to enjoy Fall with the warm days and cold nights. Now it is just Cold!

snow!

I love snow! I love the look of everything covered in white. It is so peaceful! But I love to play in it too! Our first snow of this season. We had some yesterday but just a dusting. It is supposed to stay cold so we will be having a white Christmas! My family wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas!
