July Quilt Show

One of the local quilt stores, Rooster Creek, had a quilt show this weekend. I met my friend there & we had a nice time. There were a lot of beautiful quilts there; my favorites were the vintage quilts. They always amaze me how each piece was cut with scissors & sewn piece by piece. Not like today with rotary cutters & sewing machines.
We hope to do some camping once it cools off. We have one trip planned to Hermann, MO in September. I look forward to fall & the cooler days!

This one was my favorite. It was 110 yrs old!
