Such a beautiful morning for a walk with my camera and dogs. The sun is shinning and birds are singing. Wishing everyone a great Sunday!

Birds of a feather

I love songbirds and they are in their Spring plumage. All this isolation is allowing me to get outside with my camera more. I hope everyone is safe and well!

A beautiful Spring morning

There is a benefit of being stuck at home from the Corona Virus quarantine, I get to enjoy the flowers. Instead of rushing to work and dragging myself home, I get to stop and smell the flowers. I hope with the warmer temperatures, this virus dies, and we can go back to normal life. Here are pictures of the flowers and dogs, some from this morning and some from earlier, when other flowers have bloomed.

Hail storm

Friday was a nice warm day. I worked in the yard and cleaned raised beds and added some fresh garden soil. That night, I hear my phone ding with a weather alert warning of large hail and high winds. I have never seen hail that size in my life. We are waiting to have a roof looked at but we were lucky not to have the damage others did. A lot of my friends had glass busted out on their cars and holes in their siding. I feel sorry for any animal that had to be hit by the hail! But between the hail & corona virus, i hope 2020 doesnt get any worse.

March 2020

March has been a decent month so far! Nice temperatures and last week we had plenty of sunshine! My daffodils have begun to bloom around my yard and even one crocus.
I got two quilts back from Rooster Creek. The camper quilt, was quilted with paw prints! I love it! And the other one Just Add Sugar, she did a geometric shapes. Very adorable too!
And today my friend and I made a trip to Missouri Star Quilt Company. Not that I needed any more fabric but I found some I felt I needed to add to my stash. And if I have to be quarantined, I guess I will have a lot to work on! I hope and pray all the corona virus goes away, for good, and soon!
